We love to eat salsa and the store bought salsas were lacking. They either had heat or flavor, but never both combined. So we decide to create our own salsa. We started in 1998, and after several attempts we developed the recipe that we are now using.
We started by making our HOT gourmet salsa. Our family and friends that have tried our salsa, loved it, and told us that we should market it. After a few years we decided to see if there was a market for our salsa and we found that there was. Since 2006 we have been selling our Salsa at a local roadside stand, and each year sales have increased. Since then we had requests for a Mild salsa, and in 2008 we developed the Medium blend. This year we were asked if we would do a MILD salsa, So we are preparing that blend at this time. We are also preparing to market our salsa at Supermarkets in the near future.
Our family recipe is made with four different fresh Michigan grown peppers for the HOT blend, 3 peppers for the Medium blend, and 2 peppers for the Mild blend that we are working on. We take pride in our process that keeps our product healthy and safe. Our salsa is All Natural, no pepper extracts are used to make it. Ed & Patti’s Salsa™, a product of Ambit LLC, is based out of Marine City, MI, we are currently distributing our Hot and Medium Salsas Online and at local locations.
